Michael O'Keefe

Hi, I'm Michael. For 25 years I have helped businesses use technology well, including 12 years at Microsoft. A lot of that work was the same thing this Academy is about: getting real teams to actually adopt new tools, not just buy them. Early on that meant helping Australian businesses move to the cloud. Lately it has been AI.

I am a certified change practitioner, which is a plain way of saying I am good at the human side: helping people change how they work without the fear and the overwhelm. I am also a certified AI Transformation Leader, and I run Bouddi Atelier advising boards and executives on using AI safely.

Now I bring that experience to small businesses everywhere, in plain language, on your actual work. No jargon, no hype, no faceless platform. Just a real person who has done this for a long time, sitting with you and your team until it clicks.

The things most people are quietly thinking.

Free content teaches you what AI is. The Academy changes what your team does on Monday, on your actual work, with your data kept safe. Three things free content cannot do: sit with your workflow and rebuild it in front of you, tell you which of your specific tasks are safe to put through AI, and hold your team in a room until a habit actually changes.

Think in hours saved. If one person saves two hours a week, at any reasonable charge-out rate a workshop seat pays for itself inside a month. If you want to test it first, AI Task Kickstart online is the no-regret way in.

That is why the entry rung is two hours online and the flagship workshop is a half day, not two days. The AI Clinic then keeps the learning going without pulling everyone into another full session.

Yes. Bring a paid AI subscription so you are learning on the current models, with file uploads and proper limits, and so you can keep working the moment the session ends. We recommend Claude. ChatGPT and Google Gemini are fully supported, and Microsoft Copilot or Perplexity are fine if that is what your business already runs. A free plan throttles, lacks file uploads, and often runs older models, so it will not keep up. New to all this? Turn up with a fresh paid account and we will get you set up safely in the room.

It depends on the plan, and setting this up is part of the session. Business tiers (Claude for Work, ChatGPT Team or Enterprise, Google Workspace with Gemini) are contractually not used to train the provider's models and are not read by humans. On a consumer paid plan you may need to switch off a "use my data to improve the model" setting, which we show you how to do. Either way you leave knowing what is safe to put in, what to keep out, and with your own controls set the right way. These policies change, so we always point you to your provider's current terms.
